The property was built in 1867 and was acquired in 1889 by Franz and Anna Alt. Until the 70’s, the establishment was family owned for many generations, and was operated as a typical Austrian tavern. Our parents, Franz and Elfriede Alt started renting out guest rooms. The restaurant operation was reduced over the last decades, whereas at the same time, further guest rooms were added to the property, growing into our today’s Bed and Breakfast Hotel.
